The MXL USB .006 is a medium diaphragm condenser microphone with a 22mm diaphragm. It has a frequency response of 20Hz-20KHz. It is a USB microphone that plugs directly into your computer.
The MXL 2008 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone with a frequency response of 30Hz-20KHz. It is an XLR microphone, and requires phantom power.
We will test these microphones on voice for applications such as podcasts, voice-over, YouTube videos, etc…
You will hear several samples from different distances. There are raw samples and processed samples. The processed samples use iZotope Nectar 2.
