WAVE MIC ARM PRO
The new Elgato Wave Mic Arm Pro low profile microphone boom arm is the new KING of low profile mic arms 🔥
The Wave Mic Arm Pro screams quality. From the moment you unbox it you can feel the high-quality of the parts.
It has an all metal build 🤘, 360 degrees of silent rotation, adjustable gas spring, ball head mic mount – which allows you to achieve any angle, and includes a 1/4″ mount with 3/8″ and 5/8″ adapters.
A riser is included for the bottom bar. Without the riser you have about 2.4″ of clearance, with the riser you get about 3.9″ of clearance.
One of the best things about this microphone boom arm is it’s super strong, it supports way more weight than most mic arms – at 6.61 pounds!
The Elgato Wave Mic Arm Pro even supports more weight than the low profile mic arm Joe Rogan uses (the O.C. White ProBoom Ultima Gen2) and the Elgato also extends farther than that arm – at a fraction of the cost.
The Wave Mic Arm Pro (and make sure you get the PRO, because the standard Wave Mic Arm does not have a gas spring or the same specs) extends a max of 29.5″, it tilts 70 degrees Up, and 50 degrees Down.
The desk clamp opens to a max of 2.4″, and includes rubber pads to keep from scratching your desk.
Cable channels are included underneath both arms to hide your XLR cable to keep things looking clean.
The Wave Mic Arm Pro can easily hold microphones like the:
- Shure SM7B
- Shure SM7dB
- Shure SM58
- RODE Procaster
- RODE NT1
- Neumann TLM 103
- Blue YETI
- Audio-Technica AT2020
- Sennheiser MD 421
- Electro-Voice RE20
- and basically every other mic – even condensers with heavy shock mounts.
Because this mic arm has the 1/4″ mount with 3/8″ and 5/8″ adapters, and can hold up to a massive 6.61 pounds – you can mount other things on this arm besides microphones.
Mount an iPad, mount a Zoom H6 recorder, mount lights, even mount a DSLR or Mirrorless camera 👍 A lot of video equipment and accessories have 1/4″ mounts – so this arm is perfect for that too.
You can mount this mic arm anywhere on your desk, but because it’s Low Profile, you can also mount it under your computer monitors.
Low Profile mic arms are great for getting the microphone up in your face, while staying out of your line of sight – so you have a clear view of your computer screen.
It’s great for streaming, gaming, podcasting, content creation, and the recording studio.
However, low profile arms won’t work for every space or need. So consider your space, the stuff you have on your desk, your preferred mic angle, and the movement of your hands before deciding what type to get. If you decide to go for a low profile arm, this one should be on the TOP of your list.
