The MXL 2008 large diaphragm condenser microphone is a lot of mic for your money. It comes in a hard case, includes a shock mount, and has a frequency response of 30Hz to 20KHz.
We’ll test this mic for voice work, like: narration, podcasts, YouTube videos, and such. You will hear raw samples and processed samples. I’m using iZotope Nectar 2 for the processed samples.
Being a large diaphragm condenser, it’s easy to get that proximity effect that will fill out your voice. You can get that raido voice very easily by getting in close to a large diaphragm condenser microphone.
The MXL 2008 is a lot of microphone for your money!

This is an XLR mic and DOES require phantom power.
The MXL 2008 is a great addition to any microphone collection.
