FL Studio 20.1 – The Best Update EVER (For Recording Audio)
FL Studio FINALLY has an easy way to record audio while using effects! No need to use Edison ?
FL Studio 20.1 introduced the Pre/Post switch to choose between recording the input PRE effects or POST effects. Before, if you had effects on a track and were recording, the recorded audio would be recorded through the effects – meaning you couldn’t change the effects later.
But now, you can switch to PRE and record the dry audio WHILE listening through the effects. This is necessary when recording things like guitar when you are using an amp plugin. After recording, you are free to change the plugin(s) any way you wish because you only recorded the dry guitar (in this case).
Use the Pre/Post button to record the audio BEFORE or AFTER the effects
