AUDIO-TECHNICA AT2020
How to properly produce your voice track when using the Audio-Technica AT2020 medium diaphragm condenser microphone.
The AT2020 is a cheap microphone but it has a great natural sound. With a little editing you can make this mic sound as good as any. No one will know you were using a $99 microphone!
For this video we’ll be producing a voice track, like what you would have for a podcast or YouTube video. I’ll be using iZotope Nectar 3, but you can use your favorite plugins.
We’ll go through de-noising, de-essing, gate, eq, and compression. With these simple tools, you can make any dialogue track pop!
