MIC WARS 2 | SHURE SM7B vs. ASTON STEALTH
The Shure SM7B dynamic microphone vs. the Aston Stealth dynamic microphone.
In this corner we have the SHURE SM7B studio and broadcast quality dynamic microphone. It has a frequency response of 50Hz to 20KHz and a price tag of $399
And in this corner, the next generation Aston Stealth. A broadcast and studio quality dynamic microphone. It has a frequency response of 20Hz to 20KHz and a price tag of $399
Both of these dynamic microphones require A LOT of gain, a minimum of 60 db. So, for the SM7B we will use the Cloudlifter mic pre-amp, and for the Stealth we will use it’s integrated mic pre-amp.
In this battle I will read “Annabel Lee” by Edgar Allan Poe, and seamlessly switch between the microphones.
Which of these microphones will survive round 2?
