For those who don’t know, FL Studio always shows your real account name (or the legal name of the person who paid for the product and started the account) in the top left in the Title and Hint Bar. There was no way to change the name yourself, even changing the Account name would not change it in FL Studio.
But, you can finally hide this information in FL Studio 2025 (and in 2024) by switching it to a License Plate.
This is great for those who don’t want to share their real name online or in live situations when using FL Studio.
And since FL Studio has LIFETIME FREE UPDATES, there are many situations where a parent would gift FL Studio to their kid for a birthday or holiday and it would have the parents name in the upper left all the time. Fine if you’re 10, not cool if you’re 27.
The License Plate is non-identifiable and can’t be reverse engineered to reveal any of your data. Only Image Line would have that information.
