Edit FASTER in Media Composer with Top & Tail Editing
Not many editors seem to know about top and tail editing. Boiled down, a top edit cuts out everything to the left of the play head*, and a tail edit cuts everything on the right (*up to the next edit point) and everything will shuffle down. This is often MUCH faster than using In and Out markers and extracting or using your timeline tools.
