Is it worth getting an SSD for your Kontakt libraries? Are they really that much faster?
That question will be definitively answered here!
We will directly compare loading Kontakt libraries from a Hard Disk Drive versus a Solid State Drive!

These gains will also be applicable to any other virtual instrument that loads samples!
When picking a drive, it’s best to spend a little more to get something that will be at least 45% free space AFTER you have moved your current libraries to it.
That way you will have plenty of free space to add new libraries into the future.
2TB is a good size IMO if you have KOMPLETE Ultimate or Collector’s Edition.
