The Native Instruments Komplete package has been a favorite of creators for years. It includes literally everything you need to create and mix music. Of course ‘need’ is a bit subjective and there are plenty of other plugins out there that can help when mixing, mastering, or creating. However, Komplete gives you plenty to work with, and the Ultimate version gives you even more!
Komplete includes heavy weights like: Kontakt, Massive, Reaktor, Absynth, Guitar Rig, and a bunch more. It also includes a bunch of sample libraries and instruments for Kontakt and Reaktor. You end up with a package that is more ‘komplete’ than anything else out there.
Komplete is my number 1 suggestion to those looking for plugins and instruments to add to their toolset.
