OBS is often thought of as streaming software, but it’s also the best free screen recording software around. You don’t have the editing functions that you would find in something like Camtasia, but it doesn’t matter because there are plenty of free NLE’s (video editors) out there, or of course, use a paid NLE like Media Composer or Premiere Pro. I actually prefer OBS to paid screen recorders I have!
