Pro Tools – MIDI Input Filter
Use the MIDI Input Filter in Pro Tools to remove (or add, depending on the setting) MIDI controls from being used or recorded in Pro Tools.
This is helpful if you are accidentally hitting a control you don’t need (like a MOD wheel) while playing in your MIDI part with your MIDI Keyboard. You can even filter out the notes of your keyboard or controller if you just want to record in other controls for automation for example.
The MIDI Input Filter won’t effect notes or automation already written to the track.
