WAVES MIX UNLOCK - Real-Time Stem Separation

Waves StudioVerse: Mix Unlock is a real-time stem separator plugin. It allows you to split a fully mixed song or loop into up-to 4 stems: Vocals, Drums, Bass, and Instruments.

Mix Unlock runs inside of the free StudioVerse Audio Effects plugin (formerly known as Studio Rack)

With Mix Unlock you can remix and rebalance a song by adjusting the levels of vocals, drums, bass, and instruments. You can remove elements like vocals to create karaoke songs, or remove the bass to replace it with a new riff for example.

Add plugins (Audio FX) directly inside of StudioVerse to remix elements of a song or loop. For example, place reverb and delay on the vocal of a song without affecting the drums, bass, or other instruments.

Mix Unlock is also great for taking elements of a full song or loop and using them for something else. For example, use Mix Unlock to solo the drums of a full loop, and then build a new song on top of the extracted drums.

Use Mix Unlock for simple remixing of levels or get fully creative and start pitch shifting vocals and adding FX to drums and bass to totally change the feel of a song.
